主办单位:宁波大学 直播app

人:束亚清 教授

主讲人简介:

Jakub is involved in the development of methods and models for risk assessment in maritime transport systems (MST) and contributes to the development of the concept of risk-based design and operation of these systems and their components. In doing so, he draws on the experience he has gained during his many years of service on board seagoing vessels as an officer at operational and management level. Author or co-author of more than 150 scientific publications in prestigious journals, contractor and leader of several scientific projects selected in international competitions, visiting professor at foreign universities Aalto University (Finland), TallTech (Estonia), Wuhan University of Technology (China).

Since 2021, he has been employed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, where he is responsible for the development of the Transport and Logistics degree programme as Head of Department and has, among other things, co-created the Work-Life Balance course for students of the Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk. He is also a President of the Waterborne Transport Innovation Foundation, which conducts scientific research in the field of safety and risk at MST.

报告内容简介:

In the maritime sector, the concept of risk assessment was adopted for the development of regulations, support for ship design, the provision of guidance in relation to collision avoidance and route planning and the development of measures to minimise the risk of accidents on the waterways.

A large part of the research has also been devoted to the development of methods and models for risk analysis in the above areas. This research has to some extent supported the development of official guidelines for maritime risk assessment, but there is still much room for improvement.

This presentation briefly describes the current state of research in the field of maritime risk assessment, identifies the areas that require closer attention, especially in the context of the ongoing scientific debate on the fundamentals of risk analysis and development, and proposes solutions for specific areas where risk assessment can be applied.

The solutions for strategic risk assessment for waterways, strategic risk assessment for ice-covered waters and operational risk assessment have been developed in the context of several ongoing or recently completed EU-funded research projects.
